Data Deletion Policy

EilaGirl gives you full control over deleting the health data you've logged, and your account itself. This page explains how deletion works and what happens to your data.

1. Deleting your data from within the app

• Open the Privacy Center (Settings → Privacy Center).
• Choose Delete my data to permanently remove your logged entries (cycle, symptom, flow, mood, intimacy, and any other tracking data) from your device.
• If cloud sync is enabled, the same action also deletes the corresponding data from our Firebase backend.
• Intimacy/intercourse data can be deleted independently of your other data, since it's stored with its own separate encryption key that can be destroyed on its own.
• Choose Delete my account to remove your account entirely, including your profile, condition profile, and all associated tracking data.

2. Requesting deletion without app access

If you no longer have access to the app (e.g. lost device, uninstalled app) but want your account and data deleted, email us at eila.store3250@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data deletion request." We'll verify your identity and process the request.

3. What gets deleted

• All cycle, symptom, flow, mood, TTC/postpartum, and intimacy entries
• Your health condition profile and user profile
• Account credentials and any linked partner-sharing data

4. Timeline

In-app deletion via the Privacy Center takes effect immediately for local data, and within a few minutes for synced cloud data. Emailed deletion requests are processed within 7 days. Deleted data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered, from our backend or yours.

5. Retention period

Once a deletion request is completed, no data or backups are retained anywhere — deletion is immediate and permanent, with no additional retention period, and cannot be undone or recovered by us or by you.
